Greenland Tourism & Business Council: CEO steps down

The managing director of Greenland Tourism and Business (GTBC), Thomas Rosenkrands, will step down from his position in January.

After much consideration, Thomas Rosenkrands said he will resign as managing director of Greenland Tourism and Business as of January 19 in 2010, citing personal reasons.

In a message sent to colleagues today, the resignation – which comes a year earlier than the expiry of his contract – was not a 'thanks and see you later,' but just prior notification, GTBC indicated in a press release.

- I will continue as managing director until and including January 19, so I can both contribute to our continuing, progressive work scheduled for months to come and help finishing this year’s projects, says Thomas Rosenkrands, who was hired for the job exactly two years ago.

GTBC's board has initiated a recruitment plan to find Rosenkrand's successor.

The position of Managing Director will soon be posted for potential applicants.
