People travelling to Greenland are growing rapidly in numbers and the nature and culture of Greenland offers many different and unique experiences.

Greenland is a pristine destination, perfect for holidays, professional conferences, teambuilding events, extreme sports, cruise holidays, angling and much more. For more information on tourism and travelling in Greenland visit this page.

One world-famous example of the uniqueness of Greenland is the Ilulissat glacier placed on the UNESCO's World Cultural Heritage List since 2004. Located 250 km north of the Arctic Circle, Ilulissat Icefjord is the sea mouth of Sermeq Kujalleq, one of the few glaciers through which the Greenland ice cap reaches the sea.

The glacier is one of the fastest and most active glaciers in the world, creating a dramatic and breath-taking scenery of ice and the sea in front of which, man is humbled. Studied for over 250 years, it has helped develop our understanding of climate change and icecap glaciology.
